Tolerance Induction Program Visit #9

Visit 9 in the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP) at the *SoCal* Food Allergy Institute was 5/25-5/26/23. (See Visit 1: https://myallergicfoodie.com/visit-1/). This time my husband Syed took Jacob to CA. 

At the first appointment Jacob challenged almond, duck egg white, and sesame which he had been dosing for the prior 10 weeks at home. This was another smooth cycle with no issues thankfully and he passed his challenges without incident.

The next day he successfully introduced denatured soy milk. He escalated sunflower seed and almond. These 3 foods were then the dosing foods for another 10 weeks. 

And here we are at the end of those 10 weeks. We head back to SoCal in 6 days and I am just praying that we all stay healthy this week, especially Jacob so that we can have another great trip. This next one is on the tail end of our summer break and so Syed and I are both traveling with him.

It’s big appointment too! Jacob will be introducing PEANUT for the first time in his life as well as we will finally introduce hen egg white. We are getting so close to him being able to free eat eggs! We have about a year before that happens but the time flies.
